Russia’s Presidential Aide and Chair of the Russian Maritime Board, Nikolai Patrushev, held talks in India with the Indian's National Security Adviser, Ajit Doval, and India’s National Maritime Security Coordinator, Biswajit Dasgupta.

Patrushev arrived in India for Russian–Indian consultations on cooperation in the maritime domain.
“Talks were held with the Indian Prime Minister’s National Security Adviser, A. Doval, and India’s National Maritime Security Coordinator, B. Dasgupta,” the Russian Embassy in India said in a statement.

In August this year, Patrushev held a working meeting with Doval in Moscow, during which they discussed the state and prospects of Russian–Indian cooperation in the maritime sphere.
